Wellness Area & SPA

Is SPA access included in the room rate?

It depends on your room type:
Standard: not included.
Superior: one 2-hour session included for the entire stay.
Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suite, Family: 2 hours per day included (excluding the day of departure).

What are the SPA opening hours?

The SPA is open every day from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Access is organised in 2-hour time slots and advance booking is required. You can book through any of the following channels:

Can I use the SPA if I am not staying at the hotel?

Yes, the SPA is open to outside guests at a cost of €38.00 per 2-hour session. A10-entry carnet is also available (pay for 9, get the 10th free), valid for 6 months and usable every day except public holidays.

What does the Wellness area include?

Located on floor -1, the SPA features:
Heated pool (31°C): hydromassage jets, water cascade and background music.
Wellness Circuit: finnish sauna, steam room, sensory showers and ice waterfall.
Relaxation area: herbal teas and water.

What do I need to bring?

Bring your swimwear – we’ll take care of the rest!
Upon arrival, you will find slippers, towels, and bathrobes (available in your room or directly at the Spa). Our changing rooms are equipped with digital code lockers and showers featuring complimentary body wash and shampoo. The use of swimwear is mandatory.

Can children use the SPA?

Children are welcome in the pool when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Waterproof swim nappies are mandatory for young children. Access to the sauna and steam room is not permitted for minors.

Is the pool accessible for guests with disabilities?

Yes. The pool is 1.10 m deep and maintained at a constant 31°C. It is equipped with a dedicated electric hoist to assist guests with reduced mobility in entering and exiting the water safely.

Can I book a massage?

Yes, we feature two massage rooms where professionals provide personalized treatments (relaxing, deep-tissue, or sports massages).

Fitness Room

Is the gym free of charge?

Yes, access to the fitness room is completely free and exclusive for hotel guests and for anyone who purchases a 10-entry carnet for the Wellness Area.

What are the opening hours and what equipment is available?

The gym is open daily from 06:00 to 21:00. Booking is required (please contact reception).
The fitness area is equipped with regularly maintained Technogym equipment, including:

Cardio: treadmills and stationary bikes.
Weights & Functional: barbells, dumbbells, battle ropes, resistance bands, mats, and Wellness Balls.
Strength: a professional multi-station machine for targeted training: arms (pull down), chest, back, and legs.
Towels and water included.

Reception, Stays & Services

What are the reception opening hours?

Reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our multilingual staff is always on hand to assist you throughout your stay.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: rooms are available from 3:00 PM.
Check-out: please vacate your room by 11:00 AM.

Subject to availability, earlier or later options are available:
Early check-in: €50.00 supplement.
Late check-out until 4:00 PM: €50.00 supplement.
Late check-out until 7:00 PM: €70.00 supplement.

What payment methods are accepted?

• Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
• Debit cards: Maestro network.
• Cash (within legal limits).
• Bank transfer (advance or on invoice, with card guarantee).
• Paylink (secure remote payment).

* The card provided as a booking guarantee must be presented in person at check-in to complete the payment. Charges cannot be processed without the physical card present.

How does the Wi-Fi work?

We offer free Internet throughout the hotel, with customized connection options available for events.
In your room: enjoy high-speed private access. Simply scan the QR code in the “Internet” section of your in-room TV with your smartphone. For laptops, you can manually enter the alphanumeric code displayed below the QR code.
In public areas: the “Life Source Guest” network is available upon registration.

Is luggage storage available?

Yes, luggage storage is free of charge for all guests, both before check-in (if you arrive early) and after check-out.

Is there a porter service?

Yes, our staff is happy to help you carry your luggage to your room. The hotel also has dedicated luggage trolleys, ideal for families or guests with bulky bags.

Room Features & Amenities

What will I find in my room?

All our rooms are soundproofed and designed for maximum comfort. Each room includes:
Technology: free high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a TV with Chromecast for your streaming apps.
Practical essentials: safe, minibar, desk and automated blackout blinds (hold the arrow on the display next to the TV for 3 seconds to operate).
Sleep quality: certified hypoallergenic mattresses and pillows.
Every room has a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and a full courtesy kit: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, soap, shower cap, slippers, hygiene set, sewing kit and shoe sponge.
Available at reception on request: toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit.

 Are there rooms with a panoramic view?

Yes, rooms on the upper floors offer a stunning view of the Bergamo hills. This feature is exclusive to Suite and Deluxe room categories.

What do the Family / Junior Suites offer?

The Family Junior Suites are designed as self-contained apartments, ideal for families or groups. They feature:
• Generous, divided spaces: a master bedroom and a separate living area with sofas and a table.
• Exclusive comforts: a fully equipped kitchenette (hob, microwave and utensils), a dedicated relaxation area and a bathtub (Family Junior Suite only).
Flexible layout: they can be connected to an adjacent Superior room for extra space while maintaining privacy.

Can the windows be opened?

Windows can only be opened a few centimeters. This ensures the continuous fresh-air ventilation system operates correctly, maintaining optimal temperature and air quality at all times.

Breakfast

Is breakfast included in my booking?

Buffet breakfast is included if you selected the “Bed & Breakfast” (B&B) rate during booking.
If you have booked a room-only stay, you can add breakfast at any time—preferably upon check-in—at a cost of €20.00 per person.
Our international buffet is served on the mezzanine floor every day from 07:00 to 10:00.

What if I just want coffee and pastry?

For a light Italian-style breakfast (espresso, cappuccino, croissant), head to Onda Bistrot on the ground floor, open for bar service from 8:00 AM.

I have an early departure — can I still have breakfast?

Yes. If breakfast is included in your booking but you need to leave before 7:00 AM, you can request a Breakfast Box to take away. Please note: the request must be made at reception by the evening before your departure.

Are there options for allergies and special diets?

Absolutely. Our buffet includes:
• Gluten-free: a dedicated corner with gluten-free products.
• Lactose-free: lactose-free yoghurt and a selection of milks (lactose-free and plant-based alternatives).
• Vegan-friendly options: fresh and dried fruit, cereals, various plant-based milks, bread for toasting and jams.

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking or on arrival.

Food & Drink

Which restaurants are available at the hotel?

Life Source offers three distinct culinary experiences:
• Le Terre Gourmet: refined cuisine for an exceptional gastronomic experience – Le Terre Gourmet Menu
• Onda Bistrot: a dynamic and informal setting, ideal for lunches, dinners, or quick breaks – Onda Bistrot Menu
• Atmosfere Rooftop: our exclusive panoramic space (open during the summer season).

What are the restaurant opening hours?

Le Terre Gourmet: lunch 12:00–3:00 PM | dinner 7:00–11:00 PM.
Onda Bistrot: every day 8:00 AM–midnight (continuous bar service; kitchen open during mealtimes).
Rooftop (summer): Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 PM–midnight.

Can I eat something in the afternoon?

The kitchen is closed between 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM. During this time, Onda Bistrot stays open with a selection of pastries, petit fours and aperitifs with dry snacks.

Is a reservation required?

Reservations are strongly recommended at all our dining venues — for both hotel guests and outside visitors — to guarantee your table and avoid waiting times, especially during scheduled events.

Is room service available?

Yes. Room service is available as follows:
• Breakfast: 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (dedicated morning menu).
• Lunch & dinner: 12:00–3:00 PM and 7:00–11:00 PM (dedicated menu).
Beverages (coffee, cocktails, wine, soft drinks): 8:00 AM–midnight.
You will find a QR code in your room to access the updated digital menus.

Do you cater for allergies and vegan diets?

We are not a vegan restaurant, but we do our best to accommodate all needs.
Our menus include a full allergen list. Please inform us of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when booking or by speaking to our floor staff, who will suggest the best alternatives.

Can I organise a private event or party?

Yes! Onda Bistrot is the ideal venue for graduation parties, birthdays and private events, with dedicated menus and aperitif packages.

Atmosfere Rooftop

Where is the Rooftop and when is it open?

Our Rooftop, located on the 5th floor with panoramic views of the Upper Town (Città Alta) and the Bergamo hills, operates as follows:
• Monday to Wednesday (16:30 – 22:00): exclusive access for hotel guests. It is the perfect space for relaxation; please note that table service is not provided on these days.
• Thursday to Sunday (18:00 – 00:00): open to the public (both hotel and external guests) with full bar and dining service.
• Season: the Rooftop is a summer location. It typically opens from late May to late September, depending on weather conditions. The Rooftop remains closed during Christmas and the winter months.

Are there any themed evenings or events?

Yes, every Thursday features a DJ SET.
Throughout the summer we organise special theme nights and exclusive events such as our Live Sax evening.

Is the menu a buffet?

Service is exclusively à la carte.
The menu focuses on the aperitif experience, featuring a selection of “Stuzzica Appetito” (Appetizers)—perfect for pairing with drinks while enjoying the sunset—followed by a curated selection of hot dishes for those wishing to dine.
Drinks and cocktails are served with complimentary Dry Snacks.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If it is raining or very windy, the Rooftop will close for safety and comfort reasons. The evening — including any DJ Set or live music — will be moved to Onda Bistrot on the ground floor.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, Easy Chic attire is required. We kindly ask guests to avoid tracksuits and flip-flops. Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the terrace.

Can I organise a birthday or graduation party on the Rooftop?

Can I bring a cake from outside?

 Yes, but you must notify us in advance and present the receipt and a list of ingredients (for allergen management). A supplement applies for serving and cutting.

Parking & Electric Vehicle Charging

What parking options are available?

We offer three options:
Municipal public car park: directly in front of the main entrance — free, unattended, limited spaces.
Outdoor private car park: located within the premieses, the area is fenced and monitored by CCTV.
Indoor private car park: closed and CCTV-monitored garage with a maximum entry height of 2.80 m.

Is parking included in the room rate?

Indoor parking is not included in the room rate and is subject to a daily surcharge.
Booking is recommended, especially for indoor spots.
The rates for our monitored parking areas are:
Outdoor Parking: €20.00 per night.
Indoor Parking (Garage): €30.00 per night.

Can I charge my electric vehicle at the hotel?

Yes, both private car parks are equipped with standard EV charging points (Fast Charge is not available). The charging cost is €0.96/kWh, in addition to the chosen car park rate.
Please let us know at check-in or when booking if you will need a charging point.

Pets

Are dogs allowed at the hotel?

Yes, four-legged friends are very welcome at Life Hotel.

The supplement is €25.00 per night and includes a dedicated in-room service: a pet mat and water bowl, plus a specific deep-clean of the room upon departure.

Please inform us of your pet’s presence at the time of booking so we can assign you a suitable room and prepare a welcome kit (blanket and bowls).

Which areas of the hotel can my dog access?

Dogs are welcome in the following areas:
Atmosfere Rooftop: access permitted.
Onda Bistrot: access permitted at designated tables (limited seating — please book in advance).

Dogs are not permitted in: the Breakfast Room, Le Terre Gourmet restaurant or the SPA area.

City Tax

Is there a city tax?

Yes, as required by the Municipality of Bergamo, a tourist tax of €5.00 per person per night applies. This must be paid directly at the hotel at check-in.

Are there any exemptions form payment?

Yes. The following categories are exempt:
Minors: guests under 18 years of age.
Long stays: the tax applies only to the first 5 consecutive nights.
Law enforcement officers on duty.
Patients admitted to hospital facilities.
• Companions of hospitalised patients (exemption for 1 adult).
• Parents of hospitalised children (exemption for both parents).
For health- or duty-related exemptions, appropriate documentation or a self-declaration may be required at reception.

Extra Services & Special Requests

Is a laundry service available?

Yes, we offer a laundry service upon request for our guests.
You can choose from several options: wash only, wash and press, or dry cleaning. Rates and turnaround times vary based on the type of garment and the requested treatment. You will find a detailed price list and the form to be filled out—to be dropped off at reception along with your laundry—directly inside your room’s wardrobe.
The service is available on weekdays; it is not guaranteed on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. We recommend checking with the reception in advance for feasibility and exact delivery times.

Can I arrange a surprise in the room for a special occasion?

Of course! We love making your moments unforgettable.
On advance request, we can arrange:
A bouquet of fresh flowers.
A bottle of sparkling wine (Franciacorta or Prosecco).
A selection of artisan chocolates.
A voucher for lunch or dinner at Le Terre Gourmet restaurant.

I left something behind. Can you send it to me?

Certainly! Life Hotel offers a dedicated management and shipping service for lost and found items. Shipping costs are covered by the guest, and our procedure is simple and transparent.
To request the recovery of your item:
1. Contact Reception providing your email address and the destination country.
2. You will receive an email from our partner “LHost” with various quotes (categorized by courier and delivery times).
3. Choose your preferred option and proceed with the online payment.
4. Once confirmed, the package will be collected within 24/48 hours, and you will receive a tracking code to monitor the delivery.
For special cases such as:
• Shipments to non-Schengen countries.
• Important documents (passports, ID cards).
• Oversized packages.
In these instances, Reception will request a custom quote from specialized partners (such as DHL, GLS, or Mail Boxes Etc.). To proceed, please provide your full address and a contact telephone number immediately.

Do you have a hairdresser?

There is no in-house salon. However, on advance request our reception team is happy to check availability and book an appointment at one of the best salons nearby.

Getting Around

How do I get to the city centre and Città Alta?

LifeSource is strategically located, allowing you to reach major attractions within minutes.

By Car or Taxi:
• Lower Town (City Center): Approximately 10 minutes by car or taxi.
• Upper Town (Città Alta – Historic District): Approximately 20 minutes by car or taxi.

By Bus: The main bus stop is just a short walk from the hotel, near the “Bergamo Ospedale” railway station.
• To the City Center (Porta Nuova): Take Line C. Service begins at 06:30.
• To the Upper Town (Città Alta): Once you reach the center (Porta Nuova stop), you will need to transfer to Bus Line 1.

Returning to Life Hotel from the center (Porta Nuova): Use lines C1H or C2H bound for “Bergamo Ospedale”.
Please note: Bus service for this area ends around 20:00. Beyond this time, we recommend taking a taxi.

Where can I park in the city?

Bergamo offers various parking solutions (mostly paid):
• Lower Town (Città Bassa): We recommend the parking lots in Via Paleocapa and Piazza Libertà, which are ideal for shopping and exploring the city center.
• Upper Town (Città Alta): The main parking area is located along the scenic Viale delle Mura.

How do I get to Bergamo Airport (BGY – Orio al Serio)?

The airport is just 6 km away.
Taxi: the fastest option — approximately 10 minutes.
Public transport: take bus C1A or C1B to Porta Nuova, then switch to line 1 in the direction of the Airport. Total journey time: approximately 30 minutes.

How do I get to Milan Malpensa (MXP) or Linate (LIN)?

Malpensa Airport (MXP) is located 90 km from our hotel.
• Taxi / Private Transfer (NCC): Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• Public Transport: Reach Bergamo Airport (BGY) and take the direct shuttle services.

Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is located 52 km from Life Hotel.
• Taxi / Private Transfer (NCC): Approximately 45 minutes.
• Public Transport: Reach Bergamo Airport (BGY) and take the direct shuttle services.

How far is Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital?

The hospital is within easy walking distance — approximately 3 minutes on foot. A covered pedestrian underpass at the rear of our building leads directly to the hospital’s East Entrance, avoiding street traffic entirely. By taxi the journey takes around 5 minutes.

Can you arrange a taxi or private transfer?

Our staff is fully available to arrange transportation to any destination.
We offer two types of service:
• City Taxi: immediate call-out whenever needed.
• Private Transfer (NCC): a pre-booked service ideal for long-distance travel or business transfers.

Please note that we do not operate an internal shuttle service, but we can arrange a private airport pick-up upon request.

How far is Leolandia theme park?

Leolandia is approximately 19 km from the hotel and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car or taxi/NCC.


• In autobus: a 50 metri dall’hotel (fermata fronte Ospedale) partono le linee C fino a Porta Nuova, da cui la stazione è raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti.
⚠️ Fermata “Bergamo Ospedale” temporaneamente chiusa
La fermata del treno adiacente all’hotel è attualmente sospesa per lavori di potenziamento della linea. Riaprirà il 14 dicembre 2026 con 6 corse orarie verso Bergamo e Milano, inclusa una corsa diretta verso la Stazione Fiera e l’aeroporto di Orio al Serio. Nel frattempo, consigliamo di raggiungere la Stazione Centrale con autobus o taxi.

Nota: anche dopo la riapertura, chi perde il treno diretto per Fiera/Orio al Serio potrà cambiare alla Stazione Centrale di Bergamo per prendere il collegamento in coincidenza.

How far is Bergamo Central Station?

The main railway station is located approximately 3 km from the hotel and is reachable in about 10 minutes by car or taxi.
By Bus: Line C departs 50 meters from the hotel (stop in front of the Hospital) to Porta Nuova, from where the station is a 5-minute walk.

⚠️ “Bergamo Ospedale” Train Stop Temporarily Closed
The train stop adjacent to the hotel is currently suspended due to track upgrading works. It is scheduled to reopen on December 14, 2026, with 6 trains per hour to Bergamo and Milan, including a direct link to the Fiera (Trade Fair) Station and Milano Bergamo Airport (BGY). In the meantime, we recommend reaching the Main Station (Stazione Centrale) by bus or taxi.

Note: Even after the reopening, if you miss a direct train to Fiera/Orio al Serio, you can still transfer at Bergamo Main Station to take a connecting service.

Where can I do my grocery shopping?

A Lidl supermarket and a Conad Superstore are both about a 10-minute walk away (approximately 850 metres), along the same street.
The Conad complex also includes a café, clothing shops and a self-service launderette.

Where are the best places to go shopping?

Bergamo and the surrounding area offer excellent options for every taste:

Orio Center (6 km) — one of the largest shopping centres in Italy, located opposite Orio al Serio airport. It houses over 200 shops, international brands and a cinema. www.oriocenter.it
Franciacorta Village (45 km) — an elegant open-air designer outlet with major brands at discounted prices, set in the renowned wine-producing region. www.franciacortadesignervillage.com
• Milan Fashion District (approx. 1 hour) — the heart of international fashion. If you drive, the recommended car park is Piazza Meda; please note the city centre is subject to the ZTL congestion charge (Area C). Alternatively, a private chauffeur service (NCC) is a convenient option, as it has access to bus lanes on busy days.

Where are the nearest ATMs?

The nearest ATM (Cash Machine) locations are inside the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, just a 3-minute walk away. The main ATM is located on Level 0, Entrance 38.
Please note that we do not offer currency exchange services at the hotel. We recommend that you:
• Use the dedicated exchange desks at the Airport.
• Visit authorized exchange offices in the City Center.
Note: Local banks often provide currency exchange services exclusively to their own account holders.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

Is the hotel accessible for guests with disabilities?

Yes. The entire hospitality complex has been designed to be completely barrier-free, ensuring all guests maximum independence and comfort in every common area and dining outlet.

We offer dedicated accessible rooms located on the 2nd floor, easily reachable via elevator. These rooms feature:
Ergonomic Furnishings: furniture positioned at a lower height for easy use.
Open-concept Wardrobes: equipped with adjustable pull-down hanging rails.
Accessible Bathrooms: spacious layouts for easy maneuvering, fitted with safety grab bars to ensure stability and comfort.
Our philosophy of inclusivity extends to the SPA. The swimming pool is equipped with a professional pool hoist (electric lift), allowing guests with reduced mobility to access the water and enjoy its benefits in total safety and comfort.

Hotel Policies

Is smoking allowed?

No, Life Hotel is an entirely non-smoking property (LEED GOLD certified). Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms (which are fitted with sensitive smoke detectors), all indoor common areas and the Rooftop terrace.

A surcharge will be applied in the event of non-compliance in the rooms.

Is Wi-Fi free?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas.
In your room, scan the QR code in the ‘Internet’ section of your TV, or enter the alphanumeric code manually on a PC.
In common areas, connect to the ‘Life Source Guest’ network and complete the registration.
