If you’re skeptical about coming here because of the reviews, read this: We booked this around 6pm and drove here while booking this arriving at 2am which checking was a breeze. We had 2 days to rest and restore literally anywhere in northern Italy and even southern France, but we ultimately chose Bergamo because of its proximity to Milan and Como (bc we were flying out after a month in Italy). We ended up not even wanting to go anywhere else because of how nice this hotel and the city (new and Citta Alta) ended up being. Though a few of the reviews state that it’s “cold” and unwelcoming, we actually felt like it was exactly how the owner’s responses on these reviews said. The hotel is clearly meticulously designed for quiet restoration. The rooms are very obviously soundproofed. We had the soundest sleep we’ve had in months. And we both had been traveling for a good bit and had consistent sleep debt. Everything that people complained about, i had noticed that the hotel implemented – down to the umbrellas sitting outside of the lobby. My only tip is that you book anything but the standard room, which is what we got, because every other room included access to the spa. We didn’t know about this but their team still allowed us to use the pool, which is the perfect temperature after walking around in 95•F weather all day. Robes provided immediately. All that is to say that we even loved the standard room. Shower is perfect size after staying in airbnbs with small showers even i (5’) was banging my elbows against. • beds are super comfy • shower stays hot, spacious, and is a rain shower • blackout hi tech shade • parking – free and super safe. I walked out to the car by myself and never felt unsafe • super close to city – 5 min to new city,

Hotel is nice and modern, staff nice and polite. Somehow I was given a smaller room than booked which wasn’t explained to me by any means. Also view was horrible with building works in progress outside, creating a lot of noise. Also I couldn’t sleep very well, as due to temperature changes the windows are making a lot of cracking noises, same as Aircon. Ah breakfast is additional €22 and I don’t think it is worth it. Sorry but I’ll not be staying here again. Not recommended.

The hotel has a rooftop terrace with couches and tables where guests can relax. On weekends, they offer bar service there. I was denied entry when they found out I wasn’t planning to order anything from the bar. That kind of attitude toward clients completely overshadows the modern rooms. It just proves once again that a good host matters more than fancy rooms.

I stayed at the Life Hotel in Bergamo from 6–7 December 2025 and booked a Junior Suite. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for the whole stay.

The hotel itself is modern, very clean, and beautifully designed. My room was spacious with plenty of natural light, and despite being in the city, it was impressively quiet; ideal if you value restful nights. Everything felt fresh, minimalistic, and thoughtfully laid out. For what you get in terms of room size, comfort, and overall atmosphere, the value for money is outstanding.
There were no issues at all during my stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Bergamo. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish, peaceful, and comfortable place to stay.
